Helicopter Crashes in Canada, All Onboard Killed

Four people were killed after a helicopter crashed and burst into flames in Canada's Quebec province. Local authorities have confirmed the fatalities resulting from the accident.

Police rushed to the scene shortly after receiving reports of the crash around 2:30 PM local time on Saturday (September 26).

According to Canadian police and the Anadolu Agency, the helicopter went down near "Rang des Écochs" alongside Highway 10 in the Saint-Brigide-d'Iberville area of Quebec, immediately catching fire.

Emergency responders arrived quickly and brought the flames under control, but all four individuals aboard the aircraft died at the scene.

Local administration has not yet released the identities of the victims.

Quebec Police's Major Crimes Unit has launched an investigation to determine the exact cause and circumstances of the crash.

Additionally, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada is dispatching a high-level team of experts to the site to investigate the incident.
