
All six people on board are feared dead after a helicopter crashed near Zimbabwe's capital, Harare, on Wednesday afternoon (September 30).
The accident occurred in a rural area within the Marondera district at approximately 5:00 PM local time, according to police reports.
The aircraft was carrying four passengers and two crew members.
Among the passengers was a prominent local businessman.
Government Spokesperson Nick Mangwana stated via social media platform X that preliminary information indicates there are no survivors.
Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims. Rescue teams have arrived at the scene and ongoing operations are underway, police confirmed.
