Pakistan has put forward a new proposal for a second round of negotiations between the United States and Iran.

According to two Pakistani officials, the proposal aims to host the meeting within the next few days, prior to the expiration of the current two-week ceasefire.

Speaking on the condition of anonymity, the officials stated that while Islamabad is the suggested venue, the final location depends on the participating nations.

The venue could be moved if either party requests an alternative site. The officials were not authorized to speak publicly to the media.

One official noted that while the first round of discussions did not result in a final agreement, it was not an isolated effort but rather a strategic part of an ongoing diplomatic process.
