The ministry of primary and mass education has informed that proposal was sent to the Prime Minister to cancel Primary Education Completion (PEC) examinations of class five.
State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md. Zakir Hossain has confirmed the information on Thursday. If the premier ascended the proposal then the ministry will announce.
The minister said, after cancelling JSC and JDC examinations of the eight graders, now it is hard to take PEC and Ibtedayee examinations for the fifth graders. In this regard summary of the proposal was sent to the Prime Minister to take decision. If the Prime Minister ascended the proposal then the ministry will cancel the examinations.
