The health crisis began on March 11, when Mirza Abbas fell unconscious during Iftar and was rushed to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka.

Following an emergency evaluation by a specialized medical board of neurologists, he underwent urgent brain surgery. Due to the complexity of his condition, he was flown to Singapore via air ambulance on March 15 for specialized treatment.

While the shift to a cabin marks a positive milestone, medical teams in Singapore have indicated that his recovery process will be lengthy and requires continued specialized intervention.
