Manchester City won the UEFA Champions League title by defeating Manchester United in the FA final. Through this win, Manchester City already won two championship titles, and now they have one more hurdle to overcome to complete the treble.

On Saturday night, June 03, in the FA Cup final held at Wembley Stadium, Pep Guardiola's team emerged victorious with a score of 2-1 margin.

Ilkay Gundogan scored two goals for Manchester City, while Bruno Fernandes scored the only goal for Manchester United.

Manchester United and Manchester City have faced with each other numerous times in Manchester Derby. However, the significance of this match is heightened because it is the final of the FA Cup, a stage where these two teams have never met before.

Manchester City, in the excellent form after winning the English Premier League title, took an early lead in the high voltage final match.

Ilkay Gundogan scored a goal for the team within the first 14 seconds of the match. His shot from 25 yards outside the penalty box went past Manchester United's goalkeeper, David de Gea.

In the final minutes of the match, more pressure come from Manchester City to Manchester United. It took to score the second goal in the 51st minute of the match. Once again, Gundogan played a crucial role with his left-footed shot that found the bottom corner of the net.

With this goal, Manchester City took a 2-1 lead. Despite both the teams did relentless attacks in the remaining time of the match, no one managed to score.

In the end, Manchester City emerged victorious with a 2-1 scoreline. Now, they have one more match to win against Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final on June 10 to win the treble. In European club football, Manchester United is the only club to have achieved the prestigious treble, which they accomplished in the 1998-99 season.

If Manchester City can defeat the Inter Milan, they will become the second English club to achieve the treble.
