India lost 5 wickets of team's 95 runs. But Rishabh Pant kept one end. In the 15th over, Babar handed the ball to Amir. Pant did not survive this time. He was caught out on the first ball. This left-handed batsman scored 42 runs off 31 balls. Amir picked up a pair of wickets by calling out Jadeja in the next ball.

Hardik Pandya could not doing well with the bat that day. He got out after scoring 7 runs in 12 balls. Haris Rauf picked up back-to-back wickets by dismissing Bumrah on the next ball.

In the last ball of the 19th over, when Arshdeep was run out after scoring 9 runs off 13 balls, India were all out of 119 runs with 6 balls in hand.

Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf took three wickets each for Pakistan. Apart from this, Mohammad Amir took two wickets and Shaheen Shah Afridi took one wicket.

We know how capable we are, we have to be brave and execute our plans," Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto said. Bangladesh were drawn in Group D which involved teams like South Africa, Nepal and Netherlands apart from Sri Lanka. Bangladesh need to beat at least a top-ranked team between Sri Lanka and South Africa if they want to move to Super 8. While Shanto urged to be bold in the approach, veteran batter Mahmudullah Riyad believes a good start to the tournament will be a boost for the team. "Everything relies on how we start the tournament. We need to have a good start. I believe if we make a good start, we'll go long way," he said. Embassy Cup Cricket Carnival 2024 Kicks Off in Dhaka

The first ever 'Embassy Cricket Carnival-2024' rolls on 7 June, Friday at the Bashundhara Sporting Complex. The two-day long cricket bonanza is being organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) in association with Gameplay Ltd. Foreign Secretary of Bangladesh Ambassador Masud Bin Momen inaugurated the event as the Chief Guest in presence of the officials from participating resident missions in Dhaka. The tournament features 16 teams from various International Organizations and Foreign Embassies and High Commissions competing in a friendly cricket tournament. This exciting event serves as a platform for fostering camaraderie and building stronger relationships between the diplomatic community and international organizations in Bangladesh. While the T20 World cup is being held at the West Indies and the USA, this event celebrates the cricket craze in Dhaka. "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs always supports sporting initiatives and appreciates organizations like GamePlay Ltd. for coming up with events like this", said Foreign Secretary Momen. He mentioned that this event is being organized after four successful seasons of the 'Embassy Football Fest' patroned by the Foreign Ministry.
