Pakistan lost by 6 runs to chase the modest target of 120 runs thrown by India. Then, unwritten, their farewell bells started ringing from the group stage.

But what is the reason for such a miserable defeat? Sports fans are looking for answers to these questions, where are Pakistan's mistakes. Babar Azam tried to explain that at the post-match award ceremony. He claims that continuous dot balls and the fall of wickets at regular intervals have knocked them out of the match.

After the match, Babar also praised India's bowling. 'I think they (India) bowled well after the first 10 overs. Our target was 120, we took runs per ball in the first 10 overs. But then we lost wickets one after the other, there were a few dot balls. The strategy was simple. Normal batting, rotating strike, 5-6 runs in an over and occasional boundaries. But we bowled a lot of dot balls at that time. This has increased the pressure. We lost three wickets in quick succession. And you can't expect too much from the tailenders (at the last minute).'

'We didn't play well enough in the first six overs. The target was to score 40-45 runs. But we couldn't do that,' the opener said.

Pakistan will play against Canada on June 11 and Ireland on June 16 in the last match of the group stage.
