
The South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) has officially released the match timetable for the upcoming regional football championship, confirming that Bangladesh will serve as the host nation for South Asia's flagship sporting event from November 5 through November 17.
Assigned to Group A as the tournament hosts, Bangladesh will share the bracket with Bhutan and Sri Lanka, launching their championship journey with an opening fixture against Bhutan on November 5.
Following their tournament opener, the home side will contest their second and final group-stage encounter against Sri Lanka on November 11.
Meanwhile, Group B features India, Pakistan, and the Maldives. Every participating squad will play two fixtures in the preliminary round, after which the top two finishers from each group will progress to the knockout semifinals.
The twin semifinal matches are slated for November 14, culminating in the grand championship finale on November 17.
Organizers noted that the published fixture list remains provisional and subject to adjustment, pending final confirmation regarding Nepal's participation in the competition.
