Sadman Islam reached his century in the very first over of Day Two of the Mirpur Test.
Flicking the second ball of the over toward the leg side, the opener completed two runs to register his third career Test hundred, coming off 220 deliveries.
The left-handed opener had been going through a dry spell recently, claiming a century after 17 innings. His last Test century came against Zimbabwe in April 2025.
Sadman's maiden Test hundred was also scored against Zimbabwe back in 2021.
After scoring 105, Sadman was trapped leg-before by debutant Bishop.
Bowling round the wicket, Bishop pitched a length ball on a middle-and-off line that held its line slightly after pitching.
The ball beat Sadman's bat and struck him on the pad.
The umpire raised his finger, prompting Sadman to review the decision.
However, UltraEdge showed no spike—confirming no contact with the bat—and ball-tracking revealed the delivery was going on to hit middle stump, upholding the decision.
