
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Friday forecasted rainfall across various regions of the country over the next 24 hours starting from 9 am.
According to a weather bulletin released by the Met office this morning, "Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Chattogram & Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Mymensingh & Barishal divisions."
In other regions across the country, weather conditions are expected to remain predominantly dry, accompanied by temporarily partly cloudy skies. The bulletin further noted that both day and night temperatures are anticipated to stay virtually unchanged nationwide.
The maximum temperature recorded in the country reached 36.0 degrees Celsius in Khulna, whereas the minimum temperature was registered at 22.3 degrees Celsius in Sylhet.
In the capital, sunset on this day is scheduled for 5:45 pm, with sunrise expected at 5:51 am on Saturday.
