BMD Forecasts Light to Moderate Rain across 6 Divisions over Next 24 Hours

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted rain across various parts of the country over the next 24 hours starting from 9 am on Saturday.

According to a morning bulletin issued by the weather office, "Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Chattogram & Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Khulna & Barishal divisions."

In other regions across the country, the weather is expected to remain predominantly dry with temporarily partly cloudy skies. Furthermore, both daytime and nighttime temperatures are projected to stay nearly unchanged nationwide.

On Friday, the country's maximum temperature reached 35.4 degrees Celsius, recorded in Tangail and Jashore, whereas Saturday's lowest temperature was registered at 23.2 degrees Celsius in Sylhet.

In Dhaka, sunset is scheduled for 5:44 pm on this day, with sunrise expected at 5:51 am on Sunday.

According to a bulletin issued by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Tuesday morning, a 24-hour rainfall projection commencing at 9 am anticipates light to moderate showers or thundershowers with temporary squally winds at isolated to scattered locations across Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions, alongside potential moderately heavy downpours at restricted spots nationwide.
