Gold prices rise again

Bangladesh Jewellers Association (Bajus) has announced the increased price of gold in the country's market.

This information was given in a press release signed by Masudur Rahman, chairman of the Bajus Price Fixation and Price Monitoring Standing Committee on Tuesday (June 11).

According to the new price, 22 carat gold per bhori (11.664) will be sold at Tk 1,16,955, 21 carat at Tk 1,11,636, 18 carat at Tk 95,691 and traditional gold at Tk 79,117.

Although the price of gold has been increased, the price of silver has been kept unchanged. According to the category, the price of 22 carat silver per bhori is Tk 2,100, 21 carat silver price is Tk 2,006, 18 carat silver price is Tk 1,715 and traditional silver price is Tk 1,283.
