HSC, equivalent exam to begin tomorrow

HSC and equivalent exams starting nationwide. All the preparations have already been completed regarding this exam which is going to start on Sunday (June 30). The Ministry of Education has ordered the closure of all coaching centers till August 11 in order to prevent the leakage of question papers and to conduct the examination in a fair and beautiful environment. A total of 2,725 centers and 9,463 educational institutions ready to organize the examination.

This time a total of 14,50,790 candidates are going to participate in HSC/Alim/HSC (BM/BMT), HSC (Vocational)/Diploma in Commerce examination of 9 General Education Board, Technical Education Board and Madrasa Education Board. Among them, 7,50,281 male students and 7,00,509 female students.

The total number of candidates in nine general education boards is 11,28,281. Among them, 5,33,680 male students and 5,94,601 female students. The examination will be held in 1,566 centers and 4,870 educational institutions. The number of candidates in Alim exam is 88,076 people. Among them, 47,592 male students and 40,484 female students. Total centers are 452 and total educational institutions are 2,685. Apart from this, the total number of candidates in HSC (BM/BMT) HSC (Vocational)/Diploma in Commerce (Technical) Board is 2,34,433. Among them, 1,69,009 male students and 65,424 female students. A total of 707 centers and 1,908 educational institutions.

Compared to last year, the total number of candidates has increased by 91,448. Total institutions increased by 294 and total centers increased by 67.

The Ministry of Education has given some instructions for the smooth completion of the examination. As per the instructions, candidates must enter the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination. If an examinee is allowed to enter after the scheduled time due to unavoidable reasons, his name, roll number, time of entry, reason for delay etc. should be written in a registrar and submitted in the form of a report to the concerned education board on the same day. 25 minutes before the start of the exam, the set code of the question paper will be informed to the concerned through SMS. No one other than the officer-in-charge may enter the center with a mobile phone or electronic device; Only authorized officers can use non-photo mobile phones.

The Ministry of Education has created an opportunity to provide special support of teachers, parents with an additional 30 minutes extension for the candidates with disabilities (autistic, downsyndrome, cerebral palsy).

According to the schedule, the General Education Board theory exam will start from tomorrow and end on August 11. Then the practical exam will start from August 12 and will end on August 21. The Madrasa Education Board theory exam will also start on the same day and end on August 11. The practical exam will also start from August 12 and end on August 21. And the theory test in the technical board will start tomorrow and end on July 18. The practical exam of this board will start on 19th July and will end on 4th August.

Besides, HSC and equivalent exams will be held in total 281 centers abroad this time. Among them, 47 centers are in Jeddah, 43 in Riyadh, 2 in Tripoli, 63 in Doha, 44 in Abu Dhabi, 22 in Dubai, 34 in Bahrain and 26 in Saham Oman.
