Nahid Islam, one of the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement, said, 'There is no plan to negotiate with the government in the current situation.'

He said this to the media on Saturday (August 3).

Coordinator Nahid said, 'When we were in DB custody, we were offered to sit in discussions with the Prime Minister. But we went on hunger strike in DB custody to protest this proposal.

It is known that Prime Minister and Awami League president Sheikh Hasina has instructed to sit with the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement to calm the ongoing situation by showing maximum tolerance.
For this reason, she assigned the responsibility to Awami League leader Advocate Jahangir Kabir Nanok, Mahbubul Alam Hanif and AFM Bahauddin Nasim. She also directed to include senior leaders of 14 party alliance in this team.
