Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said, national unity cannot be formed by excluding most of the peoples’ favorite leader Sheikh Hasina and country’s most popular party Awami League. They have formed unity among leaders. Unity of people was not formed.
He said these after reaching at Chattogram circuit house on Saturday night.
Obaidul Quader said, it is not national unity. Their unity is nationalist communal unity. Those who formed unity with communal force will be defeated in the national election during the month of victory.
He said, the way people have responded to the street gatherings on the way to the roads, that type of response was not seen in the gathering of Jatiya Oikya.
Obaidul Quader will be present as the chief guest in the gatherings at SR Square area organized by Karnaphuli and Anowara upazial Awami League. Later he will join gatherings at Lohagara and Cox’s Bazar.
To further strengthen the organizational activities of Awami League keeping ahead the eleventh national parliament election these initiatives have been taken.
