Metro rail operations have been abruptly suspended due to an electrical fault, causing significant inconvenience for passengers.
Services have remained halted since around 5:30 pm on Saturday (April 26).
According to reports, a train came to an unexpected stop at Shahbagh Station around 5 pm, while another train halted upon entering Agargaon Station around the same time.
An official from MRT Line-6 confirmed the suspension, citing a power trip as the cause. However, the exact source of the problem has yet to be identified, and teams are currently working to locate and resolve the issue.
Authorities remain hopeful that the fault will be fixed soon and that metro rail services will resume normal operations promptly.
