The Bangladesh government has officially rescheduled office hours for all government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous institutions in observance of the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.
According to the new schedule, offices will operate from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.
This decision was finalized during a weekly Council of Advisers meeting held at the Chief Adviser’s Office, presided over by Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus, on Thursday.
The update was later with the media by Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam during a briefing at the Foreign Service Academy.
The revised schedule includes a designated 15-minute break from 1:00 pm to 1:15 pm specifically for Zohr prayers.
Based on current projections from the Islamic Foundation, Ramadan is expected to commence on February 19, depending on the sighting of the new moon.
