Air and Navy Chiefs Cast Votes in Dhaka

Chiefs of the Bangladesh Air Force and Navy exercised their franchise early Thursday during the 13th National Parliament Election and the concurrent constitutional Referendum.

Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, Chief of Air Staff, cast his vote at 11:30 am at the BAF Shaheen College center in the Dhaka Cantonment.

Meanwhile, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral M Nazmul Hassan cast his ballot earlier in the morning at the Scholars International School and College polling center in the city’s Baridhara area.

According to press releases from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), both service chiefs participated in the voting process as part of their civic duty while overseeing the deployment of their respective forces in "In Aid to Civil Power."

Their participation highlights the military's supportive role in ensuring a secure and festive atmosphere for voters across the nation.
