Prime Minister and Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairman Tarique Rahman on Monday directed his party leaders and activists to provide full cooperation to the local administration and law enforcement agencies in maintaining peace and order across the nation.

The Prime Minister issued this call while addressing leaders and activists of the Bogura district BNP at the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban.

The meeting followed the oath-taking ceremony of two newly elected members of parliament (MPs) from the Bogura-6 and Sherpur-3 constituencies, according to the Prime Minister's Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman.

Highlighting the critical need for regional stability, the Premier urged party members to remain vigilant without overstepping legal boundaries.

"If anyone engages in activities that disrupt peace, it is your responsibility to inform the law enforcement agencies. Don't take the law into your own hands," he cautioned.

The Prime Minister further emphasized that the momentum of local development and the preservation of law and order must be prioritized and sustained at any cost to ensure national progress.
