PM Visits Ailing BNP Media Cell Convener Prof Dr Moudud

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Saturday afternoon visited Prof Dr Moudud Hossain Alamgir Pavel, convener of the BNP Media Cell, at a hospital in the capital to check on his health and recovery.

BNP Media Cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan confirmed that the Prime Minister arrived at Continental Hospital PLC—formerly known as United Hospital—in Gulshan at approximately 4 pm.

During the visit, the Prime Minister conversed with the attending physicians, receiving a detailed briefing on Pavel's medical status.

He expressed his sincere wishes for a rapid recovery and instructed the hospital authorities and concerned officials to ensure that the patient is provided with the highest standard of medical care available.

Pavel had fallen seriously ill after experiencing acute chest pain at his residence in Bogura on Thursday, initially seeking emergency care at the local TMSS Hospital.

By Friday afternoon, his condition necessitated an emergency transfer via air ambulance to Dhaka, where he was admitted to Continental Hospital and placed under the specialized medical supervision of Prof Dr NAM Momenuzzaman.
