Prime Minister Opens DAB's 37th Founding Anniversary Doctors' Rally

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman officially opened a doctors' gathering on the occasion of the 37th founding anniversary of the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) on Saturday.

The Prime Minister inaugurated the rally at the LD Hall of Jatiya Sangshad in the capital during the morning hours.

Prior to the main event, the Prime Minister planted a neem tree sapling on the grounds of Jatiya Sangshad while his wife, Dr. Zubaida Rahman, simultaneously planted another sapling at the same location.

Bangladesh and Malaysia Explore Deepened Financial and Economic Cooperation

Following the tree-planting activity, Tarique Rahman kicked off the subsequent scheduled events by hoisting the national flag while the national anthem played.

To mark the commencement of the rally, two pigeons were released as symbols of peace.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by LGRD and Cooperatives Minister and BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Social Welfare Minister Professor Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain, Prime Minister's spouse Dr. Zubaida Rahman, DAB President Professor Dr. Harun Al Rashid, and Secretary General Dr. Md. Zahirul Islam Shakil, among other distinguished guests.
