AI Should be Used as Effective Tool to Boost Productivity: Wahiduzzaman Tells UNGA Panel

AKM Wahiduzzaman, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Bangladesh Mission to the United Nations, has called for viewing artificial intelligence (AI) as an effective tool for enhancing operational efficiency rather than perceiving it as a competitor.

He made the remarks on Wednesday morning (local time) during a panel discussion organized by the internationally renowned journal "Foreign Policy" at the 81st United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) convention.

AKM Wahiduzzaman stated that instead of viewing AI technology with apprehension, it should be adopted as a medium to accelerate institutional workflow and boost productivity.

He further noted that providing employees with appropriate training on proper AI utilization would enable organizations to operate with greater efficiency.

He expressed optimism that creating opportunities for the positive and correct application of AI technology will play a pivotal role in driving global development and unlocking new horizons.
