The final gazette notification for the 45th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination has been published, recommending 1,702 candidates for appointment. The Ministry of Public Administration issued the gazette on Wednesday (October 14).

According to the gazette, based on the recommendations of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission via a letter dated December 14, 2025, through the 45th BCS Examination-2022, a total of 1,702 candidates have been conditionally appointed to entry-level posts across various cadres of the Bangladesh Civil Service under the National Pay Scale 2026 at Grade 9 (BDT 44,000–1,05,900).

Several conditions have been outlined for the appointment of the recommended candidates to various cadre posts. Their seniority will be determined according to prevailing government rules and regulations based on the results of the 45th BCS Examination-2022.

Furthermore, the gazette specified that if any freedom fighter quota candidate's certificate is subsequently proven false or forged during verification, their appointment will be instantly canceled, and a criminal case will be filed against them.

Additionally, the newly appointed candidates have been directed to join their designated offices under their respective cadre-controlling ministries or divisions by November 1.
