
Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay has arrived in Dhaka for a three-day state visit. He landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at approximately 8:00 AM on Saturday (November 22).
Earlier, on Thursday (November 20), Foreign Secretary Md. Jashim Uddin stated in a press briefing that the Bhutanese Prime Minister would be warmly received at the airport by Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus. Upon arrival, Prime Minister Tobgay was accorded a guard of honour.
Key Highlights of the Itinerary
Tribute at Savar: Following the reception at the airport, Prime Minister Tobgay will travel to the National Martyrs' Memorial in Savar to pay tribute to the martyrs of the Liberation War.
Official Meetings: Later in the afternoon, the Foreign Affairs Advisor is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on the visiting Prime Minister.
Bilateral Talks: On the same day, Prime Minister Tobgay will hold a private meeting with Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, followed by a delegation-level bilateral meeting.

During his stay in Dhaka, the Bhutanese Prime Minister will also pay a courtesy call on President Mohammed Shahabuddin. He is scheduled to conclude his visit and depart for Thimphu on Monday morning.
