The Election Commission (EC) has issued a stern warning, stating that police officers on duty at polling stations for today’s 13th National Parliamentary Election and National Referendum are equipped with body-worn hidden cameras.

According to a message signed by Md. Ruhul Amin Mollick, Director (Public Relations) of the EC Secretariat, any attempts to create chaos or disruption will be recorded in real-time.

The commission emphasized that strict legal action will be taken against those found responsible for such activities.

The EC further detailed its surveillance measures, noting that:

CCTV cameras are monitoring the interiors of polling centers.
Drones are being deployed to provide constant aerial surveillance of the surrounding areas.

The Commission has issued a nationwide alert, urging all citizens to refrain from engaging in any illegal activities during the voting process.
