The Election Commission (EC) has officially published the gazette notification for the newly elected members of the 13th National Parliamentary Election.
The notification, signed by EC Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed, was released late Friday night (February 13). According to the EC, the names and details of the winning candidates were published in accordance with Clause (4) of Article 39 of the Representation of the People Order, 1972.
Final Seat Distribution (297 Seats)
While elections were slated for 299 seats, results for 297 seats were announced due to legal complexities and the death of a candidate in certain constituencies.

Voter Turnout and Referendum Results
The Election Commission reported a 59.44% turnout for the parliamentary election. Simultaneously, a referendum was held with a 60.26% turnout.

Total Voters: 127,711,793 (including over 1,200 third-gender voters).
Candidates: Approximately 2,000 candidates from 51 parties and 250+ independents.
Historical Milestone: This election marked the first time Expatriate Bangladeshis were able to cast their votes via postal ballots.
Top Party Participation: BNP fielded the highest number of candidates (291), followed by Islamic Andolan Bangladesh (258) and Jamaat-e-Islami (229).
