Advance Train Ticket Sales for Eid Journey Begin March 3; 100% Online

Bangladesh Railway is set to begin the sale of advance train tickets for the upcoming Holy Eid-ul-Fitr starting March 3. The sale will continue until March 9, with all tickets being sold exclusively online to streamline the process for holiday travelers.

The announcement was made in a press release issued today, Wednesday (February 25). In addition to regular services, the railway authorities have decided to operate five pairs of special trains to manage the holiday rush.

Advance Ticket Sale Schedule
Tickets for journeys before Eid will be sold on the following dates:

Return Ticket Sale Schedule
The sale of return tickets for the post-Eid journey will commence on March 13 and run through March 19:

March 14: For travel on March 24
March 15: For travel on March 25
March 16: For travel on March 26
March 17: For travel on March 27
March 18: For travel on March 28
March 19: For travel on March 29

Bangladesh Railway stated that all necessary preparations are being made to ensure a safe and comfortable journey for passengers during the Eid season.
