The directive was issued via a warning notice signed by DMTCL Director (Administration) A.K.M. Khairul Alam on Wednesday (February 25, 2026).
Scope of the Ban
The restriction applies to all areas under DMTCL jurisdiction to ensure passenger safety and operational discipline. Prohibited activities include:
Locations: Station areas, platforms, concourse halls, entry/exit points, and inside the trains.
Activities: Creating short videos for YouTube or social media, commercial or personal photography, live streaming, and professional shooting.
Legal and Administrative Consequences
The notice warns that any individual or organization conducting these activities without explicit authorization will face legal and administrative action in accordance with existing laws and DMTCL policies.

Policy Compliance: All commercial shooting, video, or photography must adhere to the "DMTCL Commercial Space Rental/Lease Policy 2023."
