Since assuming office, the current government has implemented 80 out of 108 decisions taken across 17 cabinet meetings held up to July 31. The remaining 28 decisions are currently under implementation. Consequently, the implementation rate of the cabinet's decisions stands at 74 percent.

The Cabinet Division disclosed this information in a press release following the cabinet meeting held at the Secretariat on Monday (August 17).

During the day's meeting, the second quarterly report (May–July) for 2026 regarding the implementation of cabinet decisions was presented. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman presided over the meeting.

According to the press release, 84 summaries were presented in the 17 cabinet meetings held from the government's assumption of office until July 31.

Out of the 108 decisions adopted in these meetings, 80 (74 percent) have been implemented, while 28 (26 percent) are under implementation.

To accelerate the implementation of decisions adopted in cabinet meetings, the Cabinet Division organized a total of 43 inter-ministerial meetings between February 17 and July 31.

During this period, 7 policies/strategies/action plans were approved by the cabinet.

The release further stated that proposals for the signing or ratification of drafts of 3 international treaties/protocols were approved during the same period, of which 1 has been signed and 2 are under implementation.

Furthermore, 104 acts have been passed in the Jatiya Sangsad (National Parliament) during the tenure of the current government.
