Fire Engulfs Tissue Warehouse in Narayanganj, 14 Units Battling Flames

A massive fire has broken out at a tissue paper warehouse in Sonargaon, Narayanganj. Fourteen units of the Fire Service are currently working to extinguish the blaze.

The fire erupted on Monday morning (November 18) in the Jhauchhar area of Pirojpur Union in the upazila.

Reports indicate that the fire started at the Fresh Tissue Paper warehouse. Initially, 10 units of the Fire Service began operations to bring the fire under control, but four additional units later joined the effort.

However, the cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and it has not been brought under control as of now. The extent of damage is also still unknown.

Confirming the incident, Narayanganj Fire Service Deputy Assistant Director Fakhruddin stated that they responded immediately after receiving the news early in the morning. He added that it is too early to estimate the damage.
