Eight Suffer Severe Burns in Narayanganj Gas Explosion

Eight people suffered severe burns in a gas explosion caused by a leakage in Narayanganj’s Dhakeshwari 2 area early Monday.

The explosion occurred around 3:30 am due to a gas line leak, engulfing the victims in flames. They were swiftly taken to the emergency unit of the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.

According to Dr. Shaon Bin Rahman, a resident surgeon at the hospital, most of the victims sustained extensive burns and remain in critical condition as they receive treatment.
