Five people lost their lives in a devastating head-on collision between a pickup van and a CNG-powered autorickshaw in the Rubber Garden area along the Rangamati-Chattogram Highway. One person was critically injured in the accident.

The crash occurred around 10:30 am on Saturday (April 26) in the Rubber Garden area of Kaukhali upazila.
Kaukhali Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Saiful Islam Sohag stated that police rushed to the scene upon receiving news of the accident. He added that the bodies would be sent to Rangamati General Hospital.
