An Israeli drone strike on an ambulance in central Iran has killed at least three people. Al Jazeera reported this information on Monday (June 23), citing the Iranian news agency ISNA.
According to ISNA, quoting Hamidreza Mohammadi Fesharaki, Governor of Najafabad County in the central Isfahan province, an ambulance was transporting a patient to another hospital. The drone attack largely destroyed the ambulance.
Fesharaki further stated that the driver, the patient, and a relative accompanying the patient, who were all in the ambulance, were killed. After the drone attack, the ambulance driver lost control and collided with another vehicle.
Iran's Supreme Leader Warns Israel After Alleged US Involvement
Meanwhile, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has issued a warning to Tel Aviv in his first statement on social media following alleged American involvement in Israeli attacks in Iran.
On the social media platform X, he wrote, "The Zionist enemy has made a big mistake, committed a great crime; it must be punished, and it is being punished; it is being punished now."
The post also included an image of a burning skull with the Star of David symbol against a backdrop of burning buildings.
