The High Commission of India in Dhaka has urged visa applicants to beware of middlemen and brokers. The advisory was issued on its verified Facebook page on Thursday night, September 3.

According to the message, brokers lure applicants with false promises such as "guaranteed visas," "fast-track processing," and "guaranteed appointment slots."

Believing these claims can result in the loss of money, the visa application itself, and valuable time.

The warning also stresses that applicants should never hand over money, required documents, or personal information to any unauthorized agents or individuals.

Additionally, applicants seeking Indian transit visas are advised to apply directly through the designated official visa processing channels.
