Pakistan has reportedly cautioned U.S. President Donald Trump against the use of public rhetoric or harsh language, according to a report by the Washington Post.
The warning comes as Islamabad intensifies its role as a key mediator in facilitating a potential second round of negotiations between Washington and Tehran.
Government sources indicate that the message was delivered to the Trump administration as part of a diplomatic effort to ensure a stable environment for dialogue.
Positive Signals from Tehran
In an interview with Reuters, a senior Pakistani official confirmed that mediation efforts are yielding results. "We have received a positive response from Iran.
The situation is evolving. We expect an Iranian delegation to join the talks by tomorrow or the day after," the official stated.
Race Against the Clock
Pakistan is currently maintaining close communication with both Tehran and Washington to secure a breakthrough before the existing ceasefire agreement expires.
Diplomats suggest that Islamabad’s primary objective is to prevent public escalations from derailing the delicate back-channel communications currently underway.
