The ongoing T20 World Cup going very well for Bangladesh. Bangladesh already tasted one defeat against one win after playing two matches. The Tigers still have two matches left in Group D on the world stage. If they win these two matches, the red-green representatives will play the second round of T20 World Cup for the second time.

After beating Sri Lanka by 2 wickets in the first match of this World Cup, Tigers lost by 4 runs against the Proteas. Therefore, Chandika Hathurusingha's disciples are still very well in the race of Super Eight. On the other hand, South Africa first confirmed the Super Eight from this group with three consecutive wins.

The other teams in the group will fight for the remaining one place. Bangladesh and the Dutch are doing well in this race.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh has an easy equation to reach the Super Eight. As the Proteas won the match between Sri Lanka and South Africa and Bangladesh's match with these two teams already ended, the Tigers will go directly to the Super Eight if they beat Nepal and Netherlands in the remaining two matches in the group stage. However, if they lose in any match, they will have to rely on Shanto-Shakib's equation.

If for some reason Bangladesh lose one of their matches and Sri Lanka win their remaining two matches, then the red-green representatives will have to look at the net run rate. Bangladesh is in a good position from that point of view.

But surely Chandika Hathurusingha's team will not want to fall into the battle of the equation. The Tigers will want to secure a place in the Super Eight as the second team in Group-D by winning the last two matches.
