Bangladesh faced India in the second T20 match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, a venue where Bangladesh had previously won both of their T20 matches. However, this time, the past victories couldn't inspire a repeat performance, as the Tigers suffered a crushing 86-run defeat to India.

India, batting first after losing the toss, posted a total of 221 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. In response, Bangladesh also lost 9 wickets but managed only 135 runs. With this win, India, led by Suryakumar Yadav, secured the three-match T20 series with one match to spare.

Chasing a target of 222, Bangladesh struggled from the start. Openers Liton Das and Parvez Hossain Emon could only put together a 20-run partnership before being dismissed. Emon scored 16 runs off 12 balls, while Liton made 14 runs from 11 deliveries. Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto contributed just 11 runs.
