The program is dual-purposed: scholarships will be awarded to meritorious sports students to help them balance academics with athletics, while special allowances are reserved for insolvent, sick, injured, or disabled sportspersons.

In cases where the athlete is unable to receive the benefit directly, the support will be extended to their family members.

Eligible candidates are required to submit their applications online through the official portals: sports-edu.online.info.bd and sports-allowance.online.info.bd.

According to an official handout, applicants must first register using their mobile numbers. The deadline for all submissions is strictly set for 11:59 pm on March 7.
