BCB Signs MoU with Bangladesh Ansar to Bolster Stadium Security Nationwide

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has entered into a formal partnership with the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party to bolster security protocols at cricket stadiums nationwide.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed on Thursday (April 30) at the Ansar Headquarters in Dhaka.

Major General Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud represented the Ansar, while Sayeed Ibrahim Ahmed, Member of the BCB Ad Hoc Committee and Chairman of the Security Committee, signed on behalf of the cricket board.

The signing ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials, including BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury and Brigadier General Shameem (Retd), the BCB’s Head of Security.

This strategic agreement is designed to enhance coordination between the two organizations, ensuring more robust safety and security measures during cricket matches and associated events across the country.

Through this collaboration, the BCB aims to provide a more secure environment for players, officials, and fans at all major venues.
