
Hamza Dewan Choudhury arrived in Dhaka on Monday to play Bangladesh's upcoming first-leg match of the ongoing AFC Asian Cup Qualifier against Hong Kong, China, scheduled for October 9 at the National Stadium here.
The Leicester City Midfielder landed at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 11 am, confirmed Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).
In a video message, Hamza said: "Insha'Allah, we'll be successful. On the 9th, we'll play against Hong Kong, and Insha'Allah, everyone will support us."
However, the Bangladeshi star joined the team and took part in the first practice session at the National Stadium. He will get two more sessions ahead of the matchday.
Bangladesh started the qualifiers with a goalless draw against India while conceded a 1-2 goals defeat to Singapore in Group C.
The men in red and green will look to bounce back in their next match against Hong Kong, China.
