Scattered rainfall or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds are anticipated across various regions of the country over the next 24 hours, starting from 9 am on Tuesday, as forecasted by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

In a weather bulletin released this morning, the meteorological agency stated, "Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Chattogram division; at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Khulna and Barishal divisions."

The advisory further noted that moderately heavy to heavy downpours are also expected to materialize specifically within the Chattogram division.

Regarding thermal conditions, daytime temperatures are projected to hold nearly steady nationwide, whereas nighttime readings may experience a slight drop.

During the preceding 24 hours, the highest recorded temperature across the country on Monday reached 37 degrees Celsius in Netrokona, while the lowest temperature recorded this morning dropped to 24.5 degrees Celsius in Rajarhat.

Over the 24-hour period leading up to 6 am on Tuesday, the capital city of Dhaka registered a maximum precipitation level of 20 millimetres.

In Dhaka, the sun is scheduled to set at 6:02 pm on this day and rise at 5:45 am on Wednesday.
