Scattered light-to-moderate showers or thundershowers paired with intermittent gusty winds will touch selective domestic regions over the 24 hours commencing 9 am Friday, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department forecasted in its morning bulletin.

Precipitation activity is projected across a few locations in Rangpur and Chattogram divisions, alongside isolated spots in Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, and Sylhet. Nationwide diurnal thermal parameters are expected to hold steady.

Thursday's peak temperature reached 36.5 degrees Celsius in Ramgati, contrasted against a morning low of 21.5 degrees Celsius recorded in Narayanganj.

Cumulative 24-hour rainfall peaking at 118 mm fell in Tetulia through 6 am on this day.
