According to a bulletin issued by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Tuesday morning, a 24-hour rainfall projection commencing at 9 am anticipates light to moderate showers or thundershowers with temporary squally winds at isolated to scattered locations across Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions, alongside potential moderately heavy downpours at restricted spots nationwide.

While mild heatwaves persisting across Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions alongside Dhaka, Tangail, Faridpur, Gopalganj, Kishoreganj, Narayanganj, Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Khulna, Jashore and Chuadanga districts show signs of easing in multiple areas, daytime highs may dip slightly with nighttime readings holding steady.

Monday's peak temperature reached 37.5 degrees Celsius in Sreemangal, whereas Tuesday's low touched 22.5 degrees Celsius in Narayanganj, and the preceding 24-hour window through 6 am recorded maximum precipitation of 30 millimetres in Mongla, with Dhaka sunset scheduled for 5:55 pm on this day and sunrise at 5:48 am on Wednesday.
