The maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to maintain local cautionary signal No. 3 as the deep depression over North Andhra Pradesh is likely to move northwestwards and gradually weaken.

The storm system currently lies over South Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh. Under its influence, squally weather may affect the maritime ports, North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh.

All fishing boats and trawlers operating over the North Bay have been advised to remain close to the coast and proceed with caution until further notice.
