Additional Attorney General SM Munir resigns
Additional Attorney General SM Munir has resigned.
He submitted his resignation to the Attorney General's Office on Thursday (August 8).
SM Munir himself confirmed the resignation to the media.
Earlier, Attorney General AM Amin Uddin and another additional Attorney General Sheikh Md. Morshed resigned.
Incidentally, on September 1, 2020, former secretary of Supreme Court Bar Association and senior lawyer SM Munir was appointed as Additional Attorney General.
Incidentally, Sheikh Hasina left the country after leaving the post of Prime Minister in the face of the final movement of the students. A military helicopter took her to India from Bangabhaban at 2.30 pm on August 5. At that time, her younger sister Sheikh Rehana was with her.
Sheikh Hasina submitted her resignation letter to the President before leaving for India.
