Judge Shahed Nuruddin has stepped down from his position amidst an ongoing investigation by the Supreme Judicial Council. The Supreme Court administration confirmed his resignation on Thursday, January 30.

Nuruddin, who served in the High Court Division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court, was involved in the 2004 Dhaka Grenade Attack Case. He earned both his undergraduate and master's degrees in law from the University of Dhaka.
