Former Chief Justice Obaidul Hassan leaves country

It is reported that the former Chief Justice Obaidul Hassan has left the country.

He left the country on Tuesday (September 03).

However, it is known from a source that he went to USA.

Justice Obaidul Hassan resigned from the post of Chief Justice in the face of protests by students on August 10. He submitted his resignation letter to the President that afternoon.

He resigned citing several reasons. He has given the reasons in his resignation letter.

It is to be noted that Obaidul Hassan took oath as the 24th Chief Justice of the country on September 26, 2023.
