The US Embassy in Dhaka has announced a significantly faster visa processing system for immigrant visa applicants, introducing a streamlined two-day processing window starting June 1.

The announcement, made by the Embassy on Sunday, marks a major logistical update for consular services in Bangladesh. This new administrative measure will be fully applicable across all immigrant visa categories.

"Effective June 1, the US Embassy in Dhaka will implement two-day processing for all immigrant visa categories," the Embassy stated officially in its public notice.

In the same directive, the Embassy advised upcoming applicants to directly visit its official "Directory of Visa Categories" on the website to thoroughly check the respective immigrant visa requirements and categories for more detailed information.
