Official campaigning for the 13th National Parliamentary Election and the national referendum concluded at 7:30 AM on Tuesday, February 10.
According to Election Commission (EC) regulations, all electioneering must cease 48 hours prior to the commencement of polling.
Senior Secretary of the Election Commission, Akhtar Ahmed, confirmed the deadline during a press conference held at the Agargaon Election Building on Monday.

"While candidates are currently busy with their final pushes, all promotional activities must stop by 7:30 AM Tuesday," he stated.
EC officials clarified that with voting scheduled to begin at 7:30 AM on February 12, the 48-hour cutoff falls precisely on the morning of February 10.
Candidates have utilized a 20-day window for campaigning since the process officially opened on December 22.
Key Election Figures
The 13th National Election will be held across 299 constituencies simultaneously.
While the initial plan covered all seats, the EC recently cancelled the election for the Sherpur-3 constituency following the death of a Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate.
A total of 51 political parties are participating in this cycle. The candidate breakdown is as follows:
